Programme Manager
Salary: £63,000 – £65,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
High Wycombe / Beaconsfield area – working from home currently with some office attendance
Immediate start
Full Time, 37 hours per week
12-month fixed term contract – possibility of 6 months further extension
Do you have high value programme management experience?
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join them on a full time contract for 12 months. You will contribute to the delivery of a major transformation programme. The role is crucial for maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum already established.
Job requirements:
Support the Head of Portfolio & Programmes in the successful delivery of the digital transformation programme, coordination of the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies.
Work with all the programme workstream leads to develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it, utilising the programme management office.
Responsible for the construction of the overall programme plan, demonstrating the right balance of project management, business understanding, stakeholder engagement skills and managing through business transformation experience.
Provide programme leadership working very closely and collaboratively with existing workstream leads, business analysts, subject matter experts, PMO manager and governance to create and deliver ‘fit for purpose’ plans.
What they’re looking for:
Recent and relevant experience of managing high value / strategic programme management.
The ability to work through political challenges.
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, as well as budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
Strong programme management experience aligned to business change / business process change / business process reengineering / business process modelling.
Effective facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence, support and constructively challenge stakeholders.
You will be office based in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe however you should have the ability to work from home (a configured laptop will be provided for this purpose) as we are currently accessing the office on a rota basis during the Covid 19 restrictions. Free parking onsite and located less than five minutes’ drive from junction 3 of the M40.
