We have an exciting opportunity to join a small but fast-growing technology company based in Milton Keynes. The company is at the cutting edge of providing new and exciting mobile communication technologies in the healthcare sector and they’re looking for a Platform Support Specialist who can interface between their level one support team and the technical development team.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of technical problem investigation and problem solving as well as a desire to learn and keep on top of new technologies, including machine learning, cloud hosting, mobile comms, IOT and healthcare solutions.
For the right person, training and support will be provided to help enhance your skill set and future development, with an ongoing opportunity to be involved with and develop new ideas, influencing new projects and services being delivered into healthcare.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose Technical issues, following issues through to completion and escalating where necessary
Completing investigations with an organised and structured approach to within the defined SLA
Mobile and IoT Device fault finding and investigation
Performance of other Customer Support Duties as required to meet operational needs and assist during busy periods, including answering customer calls and managing support tickets
Testing and Quality Assurance for products, systems and services
Working towards departmental and project deadlines
Develop and create documentation specific to the Platform Support Specialist role and responsibilities Key skills:
Problem Solving
Proven Technical ability – either system administration, networking or coding
Ability to communicate on both a technical and non-technical level
Experience in customer service
Organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to adapt to a changing environment, handling multiple priorities
Able to identify ways in working that improve efficiencies and effectiveness
Attention to detail
Adherence to systems and processes
Pass a DBS Check
Experience or understanding of Linux -bash (desirable but not essential)
