Our client a leading manufacturer and supplier of Industrial PC and Mobile Computing products are looking to hire a UK Operations Manager to head up their established UK office based in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will control all aspects of the operation and so it is essential they have a broad experience of business management with a strong sales background particularly in a related industry.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Integration Departments
* Monitoring Company Profit and Loss (P&L) in particular Revenue and Margins
* Identifying business growth areas and implementing action plan to penetrate market sector(s)
* Working with the oversees Headquarters to ensure good business communication and management functions
* Producing and submitting regular reports to HQ of financial situation
* Managing local personnel and carrying out regular performance reviews including productivity
Key Requirements
* Degree or equivalent (HND) preferably with a technical background (Engineering/Electronics/Computing Hardware)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Prior experience in sales management or business operations
* Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
* Previous experience working in an Electronics, Industrial PC or IT industry
