CST Ltd provides IT support services to over 400 clients ranging from small businesses, up to nationwide corporates. We have built our success on providing the highest level of service to form productive long-lasting relationships.
We are looking for someone to join our Network Operations Centre (NOC). To monitor computer networks and servers for problems. You will analyse problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians and track problems through to resolution.
This role follows a shift pattern and will require occasional night working.
Key Tasks
* Handling and prioritising level 2 tickets related to customer faults and achieving resolutions within agreed SLAs.
* Assist in troubleshooting and repairing assigned systems in conjunction with colleagues and vendors to ensure timely and effective remedies.
* End-to-end problem demarcation and troubleshooting of service quality issues.
* Responsible for status monitoring, escalating and completing scheduled maintenance activity.
* Perform proactive and reactive monitoring of all the fundamental tasks required in the testing and analysis of all elements of the core network equipment and facilities.
* Comply with change control procedures to ensure the satisfactory conclusion of change requests and minimising downtime.
* Work closely with the Client Services team, and other colleagues or vendors, in troubleshooting problems
* Work with customers, internal or external, to resolve issues and ensure they have a positive experience dealing with a client.
* Complete assigned daily tasks to ensure optimal network performance and end service for customers.
* Work on special projects as assigned from time to time.
* Ensure regular communications with Supervisor, team members, and other departments in order to maintain a reliable network that our customers expect delivering their services.
* Ensure that all core network compliance requirements are correct and up to date.
* Adhere to client policies, including but not limited to IT Security and GDPR Policies.
* Work on a retained basis and support out of hours work that may be required to maintain or upgrade the core network and systems.
* Undertake any other reasonable requests asked of you to support the business and its operations.
