2nd /3rd Line Network Support Engineer
Hours: Full Time
Location: HP12
Pay: £26,000 – £35,000
Key Network Services Ltd is a provider of IT support to SME companies across a wide variety of market
sectors.
Working within a small team of knowledgeable IT engineers you will be responsible for providing day-today technical support remotely and on site to our clients for a range of hardware and software related
systems. We also assist in hardware and software evaluation, recommending upgrades and improvements
to their infrastructure.
Role Description:
• Receive, respond and provide updates to customer issues via phone, email, ticketing system
• Resolve problems related to software, hardware and network using ticketing system
• Monitoring and maintaining customer infrastructures
• Building, loading and deploying Servers and PCs including software
• Handling installations, migrations and upgrades
Essential Technical Skills Required:
• Principles of LAN and WAN, TCPIP and systems design
• Competent knowledge of Windows 2016 & 2019 Server, Windows 10 to the level of
troubleshooting issues, installing and maintaining
Other Skills:
• Organised, capable of multi-tasking and able to work in fast paced environment
• Customer focused with strong communication skills and a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in supporting IT in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of network cabling, patching and fundamentals
Other requirements:
Full Driver’s licence & a car
