Network & Security Engineer / Network Engineer – Cisco routers & Switches, firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto or Juniper), 2nd line support, project – Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, commutable from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire – £30,000 – £35,000 + On-call Allowance + Bonus + Bens

My client is seeking to recruit a number of Network & Security Engineers to provide 2nd line support to clients, whilst also assisting 3rd Line Engineers and being involved in project work. You will be required to support on WAN & LAN network services incorporating Cisco Routers & Switches, and Checkpoint & Cisco firewalls.

Key Skills:

Proven troubleshooting experience at a 2nd line level of WAN / LAN network support incorporating Cisco Routers & Switches, and firewalls (Any of CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper)
Experience of establishing and resolving network issues around site to site VPN's.
Certified CCNA.

Desirable:

Certified CCSA (Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator)
