Our client is a leading provider of quality industrial data communication and networking products. They specialise in Industrial Ethernet, and Serial device connectivity. Due to project expansions, we are now looking for a Network Engineer with an understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3/5 Years' experience in a network engineer roll or similar plus technical support experience. We are particularly interested in speaking to candidates with strong experience in WI-FI, switches and routers.
Key Responsibilities:
An understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
3/5 Years' experience in a network engineer roll or similar plus technical support experience

Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.

Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers, and IP Telephones.

Understand IPv4/IPV6, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT

Able to provide and document specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical problems in a simple way.

Network security experience.

LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, WAN experience.

Strong experience in WI-FI, switches, routers.

Experience using or working with Mikrotik RouterOS, DreyTek, Xirrus, Ubiquity, AWS, MS365, Salesforce would be an advantage.
