Mid-level Java Developer

Brilliant opportunity to join a leading software house in Milton Keynes, working on sophisticated web applications for some of the world's leading finance businesses.

The business are technology driven, and are looking for someone who is passionate about innovation and wants to bring ideas to the team and their techstack. They have particular interests in distributed computing, microservices, system design and UI.

Day to day, you can expect to have variety in your role, developing new features for an upcoming release, or making enhancements for existing clients. The team work with Java with Spring and Hibernate, and have chosen Angular as their tool of choice for the client side. This role will give you freedom to work on the full stack.

Long term, they'll look to progress you towards becoming a subject matter expert, where you'll be integral to the innovation and exploration of new technology, whilst guiding and nurturing Junior members of staff.

We are expecting to see applications from candidates with at least 18 months of experience, using the following:

– Java (Spring and Hibernate)

– JavaScript (ideally with Angular, React or Ember)

– HTML, CSS

– SQL Server or Oracle
