Key responsibilities of our MI Developer will include:

Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to collate and understand business requirements

Analysing existing data sources to understand the information being presented and ensure data quality

Building reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Visual Studio

Maintaining, reviewing and improving existing report provision

Completing and maintaining internal documentation

Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner, conveying complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way

Championing data quality and assisting users in the best use of the reports

Engaging in project work as required

Building on business knowledge and developing relationships throughout the organization

Being adaptable to sharing and receiving knowledge across the MI team to improve the service we offer across the business

Maintaining a proactive nature to work on, and improve upon, solutions with minimal supervision

Using strong attention to detail

What we’re looking for in our MI Developer:

Relevant experience or a degree in Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Management Studio)

Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience of data analysis

Creative problem solving, analytical and strategic skills

Creative ability to develop solutions that work, are user friendly, and are easy to maintain
