Logistics Operations Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Logistics Operations Engineer to join a leading international warehouse logistics giant in a highly varied and technical role.

This company provide bespoke logistic systems to some of the largest fashion brands and retailer warehouses in the UK. They have been established since the 50's and are showing no sign of slowing down. They are looking to keep expanding and continue to dominate the automated logistics market.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the company's logistics operations such as manufacturing and shipping work properly and meet both customer and the company specifications. You will handle all matters of logistic operations and its machinery such as incident, problem and change management. It will combine supervisory, technical, training and administrative responsibilities. You will also work with the customer to increase stability, increase efficiency and establish best practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software application support and incident investigation as well as an understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management. You will have good technical knowledge of Linux and Windows OS's, SQL database. Any knowledge of Programming languages (Java, Python, PL/SQL, C++), networking and server infrastructure, and ITIL foundation desirable.

The Role:
*Ensure logistic operations work properly and meet defined specifications
*Interact with computer systems, software, machinery, engineers and end users to increase efficiency, stability and establish best practices
*Based in Milton Keynes office
*40 hours per week (14:00-22:00 / 06:00-14:00)

The Person:
*Experience in software application support and incident investigation
*Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain management
*Technical knowledge of Linux and Windows OS's and SQL
*Any knowledge of Programming languages (Java, Python, PL/SQL, C++), networking and server infrastructure and ITIL foundation certification is desirable
*Must be commutable to Milton Keynes
