Linux Infrastructure Engineer – (Contract)

We are looking for a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join a global utility company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation in the energy sector.

Essential Skills/Experience

* Proven expertise in Red Hat/CentOS Linux versions 5, 6 and 7 and Ubuntu 14.04/16.04

* Knowledge and experience of Yum and Apt

* Excellent scripting skills

* Excellent problem-solving skills and experience providing support to a wide customer base

* A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers

A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the Daily Duties

* Experience of one or more of the following: Puppet, Ansible, HPSA, Chef, GIT, Jira and Confluence

* Proven programming ability especially using Python or Perl

* High-quality documentation skills

* Experience of backup software such as Bacula/Bareos"

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £350 Per Day
