My client, a leading supplier of IT solutions, are currently recruiting for several Engineering Team Leads to support them on a 2 month IT/EPOS Installation project assisting a high-street retailer

You will be required to support the engineer team, who will completing Epos hardware swap out and installation, and basic cabling across the UK

The Role

Ensuring the engineering team are all on route to site and monitor start times
Ongoing liaison with IT project team on site status
Take all initial escalations / issues / tech questions from regional team
Contact standby engineers in instances where engineers unable to attend and action contingency plans
Chase sign off documentation from engineers
Maintain an issue client log
Manage End of shift report and reporting
Engineers will be working from home the majority o the project, however will be required to attend sites to support engineers when required
What are we looking for?

Highly experienced IT / EPOS engineers who have experience working as a Lead Engineer
Experience of installing and upgrading EPOS equipment and running of cables
Lead Engineering experience

Lead Engineers will be required to have

Engineers must have full UK driving licence
Able to pass DBS check
Engineers must be happy to complete online Asbestos awareness course
Step ladder that is capable of getting an engineer to 3m in height
Standard engineering toolkit, smartphone + COVID PPE
Suitable set up to work from home
Work mobile and laptop
Working Hours

Shifts – Sunday to Thursday – start time 3am – 1pm, (10 hour day working from home / door to door)
Potential need for activity on a Friday
Consistency of work – 4 – 6 days per week

What's on offer?

You will be paid up to £165 per day via an Umbrella / Ltd company
Rate based on 10 hour day working form home / door to door, inclusive of travel where nessessary
Any overtime (more than 10 hours a day inclusive of travel) is paid at £16.50 per hour
Must have own reliable vehicle with business insurance
Mileage claimable at 20ppm after first 100 miles per day (pro rata'd over the week i.e. any mileage over 500 miles on 5 day week is claimable)
Parking, tolls, congestion claimable on expenses

This role has been assessed and deemed an outside IR35 role

The above rates are the umbrella company / Ltd company rates subject to deductions
Ltd company engineers will need to provide all relevant ltd company insurances
