Lead Front-End Developer

Location – Office In Milton Keynes – Home Based Role

Salary – £60,000 – £75,000

Our client is one of Milton Keynes’ fastest growing Tech firms, are on the lookout for an experienced Lead/Senior Front-End developer to join the team. Working closely with their Lead Architect, design, and customer success teams to lead the front-end direction of their core products. You will collaborate with other developers, writing code and developing user journeys that you are proud of!

The key responsibilities/skills & experience for the role are as follows –

* Own the frontend development of one of more out their products/services

* Shape and strategize the frontend team, whilst the client continues to grow within the tech space

* Advanced experience building responsive & intuitive frontend web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ideally Vue.js)

* Experience using Typescript and precompilers such as LESS, SASS & SCSS

* Architect, design and build complex user interfaces from the ground up using the latest web technologies

* Knowledge of page optimization and bundling tools such as requires, rollup and webpack

* Experience in creative intuitive user journeys and amazing UX building a service from the ground up is preferred

* Be productfocused, driving the design, development, and implementation in order to turn a user’s pain-points into simple and elegant solutions that are loved

* Experience with version control (GIT)

* Experience integrating with 3rdparty JavaScript API’s

* Ability to write well structured, semantic, and maintainable code

* Experience in developing responsive applications that work across all devices and screen sizes

* Knowledge of best practices, usability and awareness of web standards, crossbrowser, and cross-platform issues

If you hold any experience of Web Components, GraphQL, Bootstrap, AWS or any experience of working with a systems integrator/back-end developer, C# and .NET, it would be advantageous but not essential
