Our Client is in the process of expanding its application portfolio and as a result, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Database Developer to join an award-winning company. This is an exciting entry-level role and will provide a pathway into various other positions within the Data team

The role will be a two-year training program which will involve in-house provided training, self-learning, and professional certifications to complete. You will be reporting into the Senior Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with working alongside system administrators as a first-line escalation for any data-related tickets that require back-end solutions/intervention.

Troubleshooting data queries raised internally on behalf of the clients, which will require writing, T-SQL scripts for CRUD related tasks/solutions.

Managing first line support through the ticketing system and working with both system administrators and second or third line within the data team.

Developing bespoke T-SQL procedures and views based on client requirements to be built into the system.

Management of bespoke invoice file creations for new and existing clients including some system configuration.

Essential Skills:

* At least 6 months experience in an IT-focused role.

* A solid understanding and experience using the Microsoft office suite.

* Ability to communicate in a professional manner.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* An understanding of SQL.

* A basic understanding of relational databases and set theory.

* Advanced Excel knowledge.

* Experience working in a first or second-line support role is desirable but not essential
