A great position has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer to join a team of IT professionals working within a global, blue chip company that specialise within the manufacturing industry. The company are German born, and are known as one of the major player within their field and due to continued success they are now seeking a talented IT Support Engineer to join their UK Head Office in Milton Keynes.

The most suitable Technical Support Engineer will have a proven background working within a Support Engineer (or similar) role previously and have a full understanding of PC hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office applications. The Technical Support Engineer will be someone who enjoys assisting people with any issues they may have and be able to implement the appropriate solutions when problems arise internally and externally with staff and customers.

IT Techncial Support Engineer Position Overview

To give support to all users for all IT systems, hardware and software.
Network security
Help external staff with remote access
Manage and support mobile devices including smart phones and tablets.
Keep software up to date
Research, plan and manage any projects that are authorised

IT Techncial Support Engineer Position Requirements

Very competent knowledge and understanding of PC hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Proven Technical Support experience
Excellent problem solving skills
Good communicator
Ability to take ownership of any problems and see them through to resolution
Commutable distance to Milton Keynes

IT Techncial Support Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £25,000 – £30,000 (dependant on experience)
