IT Support Technician offering up to £30k required by a reputable Managed Service Provider to support a prestigious educational provider based in Gerrards Cross. This a great opportunity to become an integral part of an organisation where they thrive on enabling their staff to further their skillset, provide progression opportunities and where customer service is highly valued. The IT Support Technician will be the sole onsite support at a 2nd line level to around 350 end users, receiving support and mentorship from a 3rd Line Engineer once a week.
Day to day, the IT Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring the school systems and applications are ready for teaching involving the maintenance and issue resolution of infrastructure, hardware, and software. The IT Support Technician will be able to escalate more complex issues to Engineers who will have the ability to deploy projects accordingly.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
Excellent customer facing communication skills
Knowledgeable in supporting Windows systems and servers
Adept in the support of computer hardware, software, security and networking
Previous experience supporting SharePoint would be extremely beneficial
MCSA or relevant IT qualificationsThis role would suit an IT professional who has gained experience in a similar role and is looking to become part of an organisation where they can grow technically and progress to the next stage within their career.
Candidates being submitted for this role are expected to have a clean driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
