IT Support Technician 1st Level
Lynx Networks is a secure company, having traded for 33 years. We have an excellent reputation, particularly at the IT infrastructure layer.
We need an additional person to work on our IT Support Helpdesk, backed up by experienced technicians and engineers.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing technical support for customers via telephone, Teams and remote connection
* Building great relationships with our clients
* Being proactive in keeping customers informed of the status of their calls
* Managing your own time to give best performance
* Working closely with more experienced technicians when necessary
* Keeping up to date with relevant technologies
The successful candidate will have at least 6 month's experience of IT support and a good knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365.
Any understanding of Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Exchange would be an advantage.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday on changing shifts covering 8:00am to 4:30pm or 10am to 18:30pm.
Courses can be taken to achieve certification from Cisco, Microsoft etc.
Ideally, you should live within 15 miles of Milton Keynes.
Lynx Networks is owner managed and has a friendly working environment. Career progression from IT Support Technician to Network Engineer can be achieved.
