This highly successful telecoms company is looking to recruit an IT Support Manager to take on a newly created role covering all aspects of IT, following a period of significant growth.

Reporting to the COO and the CFO, this is a full-time permanent position based in the Milton Keynes office. The business is expanding its activities and operations and this role offers an exciting development opportunity for the right Candidate.

Key Duties

* Responsible for Desktop and Laptop PC support for both office and remote use

* Virus and Malware protection including renewal and management of licences

* Office Printers configuration and support

* Office LAN configuration & support incl firewall security configuration and management

* Cloud PBX management for the phone system

* Office Wifi network configuration and support including security

* Remote VPN access and security and Internet access links to the office

* IT asset management and control and register.

* Server configuration and support, Windows and Linux

* Shared storage management and support systems (Google Drive, Dropbox)

* Systems backup and IT system disaster recovery management

* Website maintenance and transition to domain name.

* General software and license management including Microsoft office suite

* Any other adhoc IT support requirements and issues

The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 5 years IT support experience including a good understanding of networks, software and control of general office IT requirements.

The role requires a strong communicator, who is able to establish effective working relationships with co-workers, clients and suppliers and who has a customer service mentality. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as advanced general office management software and systems skills.

This is a permanent role paying £30,0000 – £35,000 + bonus + benefits and share options
