IT Support Engineer – Milton Keynes – £25,000 to £30,000 – 25 days holiday – Pension + Benefits
Melbreck Technical is working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special-purpose equipment, who are located in Milton Keynes and have been trading for over 35 years.
They are known in their industry for innovative and quality products that last, and they have won multiple prestigious awards.
Due to a very successful 2020, and a great start to 2021, they are looking to expand their IT Support Function to assist with infrastructure growth and as such are looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their team ASAP.
IT Support Engineer – Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot support requests (both hardware and software) and provide or obtain a timely resolution.
Setup new desktop, laptops, and other end user devices according to given specifications.
Configure and manage for on premise Active Directory accounts and security groups.
Configure and manage email accounts for on premise Microsoft Exchange Server 2013.
Configure and manage user accounts for cloud platforms (i.e. Microsoft 365, Adobe, Autodesk, iAuditor etc)
Liaise with suppliers to identify solutions and obtain quotes where needed.
Basic network infrastructure maintenance.
IT Support Engineer– Candidate Requirements
Experience with working with an IT Service Desk system for processing IT support requests.
Experience with creating and deploying Windows OS images
Experienced in supporting/operating Windows OS’s (Versions 7 → 10).
Experienced in supporting/using Microsoft Office 365.
Experienced in installing and configuring hardware (PC’s, Printers, Scanners etc).
Experienced in administrating Active Directory.
