IT Support Advisor

Milton Keynes

Temporary approx. 6 months

£15.00 per hour

Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week

Our prestigious client requires an experienced IT support / Helpdesk advisor to support their clients' log into their new portal. The role will require you to be the first line support in taking queries regarding IT portal issues. This role will be working from home initially but might require you to go into the office for meetings.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Be the first point of contact for clients regarding their login issues
Take down the specific issues and pass to the relevant IT team
Log all the issues onto an excel spreadsheet to record and report trends
Provide great customer service to the clients via phone and email
Provide information regarding the technical issues associated with the internal portal with the IT design team
Provide analysis and insights regarding the issues logged
Respond to client and user queries using helpdesk ticketing system
Maintain an accurate log of all problems encountered
Undertake system administration dutiesWe are looking for someone with:

An IT helpdesk background
Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
Ability to carry out specific tasks with minimum of supervision
IT literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft suite of tools (particularly excel and PowerPoint) in order to perform analysis and develop compelling reports
