Job Title: IT Solutions Architect/Presales

Location: Milton Keynes & Home Based

Salary: Up to £60k basic + Benefits + Bonus

About the IT Solutions Architect/Presales role:

As the Solutions Architect will take overall ownership of the solutions architecture processes and manage larger formal tenders and major proposals, ensuring the timely submission of winning bids.

The role of the Solutions Architect is to work closely with business development and sales teams to provide pre-sales and translate client’s needs and requirements into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals.

Key responsibilities we’re looking for in our IT Solutions Architect/Presales:

Advise clients on the path to achieving compliance with standards such as ISO27001, NIST, PCI DSS

Meet with clients to identify business drivers, and desired business outcomes

Continuously update the skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing market landscape and client needs

What we’re looking for in our IT Solutions Architect/Presales:

Good technical understanding of networking technologies and cloud technologies

Experience scoping penetration tests and Cyber Risk and Advisory engagements

Good Cybersecurity exposure and understanding of the business

Good understanding and knowledge of ISO27k

Details oriented and experience of bids and tenders in a commercial environment

Experienced in technical requirement gathering, designing solution and guiding implementation team during testing and deployment phase

Proven experience plus of technical presales and solutions architecture roles

Experience working across multiple frameworks esp. in government and skilled in creating master service agreements and large contracts

Familiarity with the public cloud offerings such as AWS, GCS and Azure

Demonstrable experience of cloud-based principles or standards such as the CSA, ISO and NIST

ISO27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer certification a plus but not essential
