Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to the business users by resolving incidents and executing service requests within any agreed SLAs
Recording of all user requests and incidents in the IT Service Management system, keeping them updated with latest status and progress
Administration of user accounts, fulfilment of employee new starter and leaver requests
Installing, relocating, servicing and configuring of user computer equipment and devices
Diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical problems
Implementing software upgrades and installs as necessary
Maintaining asset inventory for IT user equipment and related software
Purchasing of IT equipment and consumables, taking responsibility for recording and keeping IT stocked items up to date
Documenting of Service Desk procedures and ensuring they are kept up to date
Documenting user guides
To work in compliance with all IT Polices, and promote policy elements within the business
To keep the IT Manager informed of any known or potential IT security threats or business risks
