IT Service Architect

Job Details

Our Government based client is looking to recruit a Service Architect on a 6 month initial contract.

* Hybrid working including from home and on site in Milton Keynes

* Role requires to undergo SC Security Clearance

* £555.00 per day Outside IR35 via a Limited Company or Umbrella Company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* The effective delivery of the Service Architecture for all existing and future live services

* You will be responsible for a number of services liaising with the Service Management Integrator and also ICT Operational Staff

* Service Architecture research and design

* Define and maintain the roadmap

* Gather and refine service requirements from customers

* Translate these requirements into scope of services, delivery models, resource demands, processes, SLAs and OLAs, etc

* Prepare low level and high level service designs

* Contribute to customer proposals and tenders, etc

* Base lining and maturing the standards with in the Service Architecture and Design aligning to ITIL best practice

* Developing business relationships with customers to understand the growth opportunities and well being of services

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

* Demonstratable experience in Service Design and Service Architecture

* Developing service frameworks, standards and principles

* Customer focused and able to understand their needs

* Able to write coherent, concise and readable service design documentation

* Financial and budget management

* Service Cost Modelling

* Detailed knowledge of Service Management

* Bid management or proposal preparation experience

* Ideally experience in a IT Service / Managed Service based environment

* ITIL Certification

Preference will be given to candidates who hold current SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered.
