IT Security Analyst Senior, CISSP, SIEM, VLAN, Firewall, IT Security, analyst, Sec, infosec, information, security, Windows, WSUS consultant, contract, Remote work available

IT Security Analyst is required to join a national Pharmaceutical company on an initial 4 month basis to fulfil multiple security related projects and analysis.

The ideal Security Analyst Candidate

The ideal IT Security Analyst candidate will be CISSP certified and have at least 5 years’ experience working within IT Security / Network Security.

Key skills

CISSP or equivalent
Experience of driving SIEM tool implementations to maximise benefits realisation.
Strong knowledge of designing network VLAN topologies and firewall rulesets for optimum security, backed up by strong knowledge of network technologies such as IP/DHCP, WiFi, VPN, switch port management, and Network Access Control.
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 patch management and reporting using WSUS
Knowledge of designing and implementing always-on VPN solutions and forward proxy servers.
Antivirus Knowledge
Strong knowledge of Active Directory security, including account and password management, permission and group management, Group Policy design and configuration.
Knowledge of security hardening of Windows Server, SQL, Windows 10, Hyper-V and Linux operating systems.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.

Rate

£325 – £450 a day Depending on experience
