IT Project Manager (Tableau) required to work in Milton Keynes.
My client have a fantastic opportunity for a IT Project Manager to take overall charge of the planning and execution of assigned IT initiatives of varying sizes, complexity, and budgets across all areas of the Business.
Responsibilities:
* The management of assigned initiatives to time, budget and scope whilst meeting functional and quality specifications adhering to Clients governance processes, standards, and any additional departmental control processes
* The development and management of project budgets and financial reporting
* The identification and management of resources in collaboration with resource managers
* Ensuring all impacted areas (business and delivery teams) are engaged early in the delivery process
* Proactively assisting in requirements gathering and options selection
* Developing accurate plans and road maps whilst monitoring overall progress, ensuring dependencies (internal & External) and interfaces within those plans are managed effectively
Skills required:
* You must have Proven Project Managing using Tableau (visual analytics platform), Confirmit, Microsoft technologies
* Experience of various IT delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile & DevOps
* A proactive Project Manager with demonstrable experience of working on end-to-end project lifecycles using preferably agile but other methodologies would be considered.
* Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion and initiatives crossing multiple business functions
* Effective stakeholder management skills essential with the ability to challenge, influence and negotiate with others
* Demonstrable working knowledge of delivering IT related projects and report writing
* Good knowledge of budgeting and resource management
* Shows initiative, drive and an enthusiastic “can do” approach
* Has a broad understanding of procurement, contracts related to the project and a detailed understanding of the contractual commitments that need to be met.
Desirable skills:
* A Project Management qualification (e.g., Agile PM certification, Prince2, APM)
