One of the UKs leading IT Service Providers are growing their projects function. Technology is driving the professional services team and they need a proactive retail project manager to engage on a dynamic and varied program with their broad retail and hospitality customer base.
It is a full lifecycle role where the Project Manager is required to be 'hands on' and delivery focused. You will be involved in carrying out analysis work, influencing customer stakeholders, getting involved with the project deployment, right through to ensuring the commercials are hit. Once a project has been initiated you will have complete responsibility for ensuring the delivery is on time and on budget.
There are a large number of key projects in the pipeline, including Hardware replacement, EPOS deployment, delivery of end to end infrastructure platforms, new business systems and much more!
Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be liaising with both technical and non-technical customers and external 3rd parties. You will have formal project management experience in the retail / hospitality sector working with a formal project methodology such as Prince2.
