IT Project Manager – Contract Role

Junior PM/Mid-level PM role

Location: Milton Keynes (Flexible for working from home WFH)

Day Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Negotiable on experience)

Initial contract Length: 6 Months (Inside of IR35)

Sector: IT, Infrastructure

Start date: Immediate (Up to 4 weeks)

We are looking for an IT Project Manager for a global multinational pharmaceutical company. Someone who can take responsibility of multiple IT projects and has experience in delivering with high detail.

* Working with a Senior Project Manager in the Infrastructure Project Stream delivering key projects covering Computer Room upgrades, Network upgrades, Construction of new facilities to include use of new technologies around AV and Digital Transformation, WIFI and more.

* Providing support and guidance to challenges with current infrastructure

* This role is based on site, but remote working is available when appropriate

Skills:

* Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience leading small-medium size projects in IT Infrastructure

* Proven skills in project delivery to include processes reporting and budget management

* Ability to assist with the design and approach for projects

* Attention to detail

* Ability to demonstrate good team leadership

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Problem solving skills under pressure

* Maintaining standards for documentation and processes

Technical Knowledge:

• Familiar with technologies such as Microsoft, Cisco and VMware. They will also need to have experience with storage area networks, WAN , LAN, virtualization, firewalls, routers and more

Qualifications:

• Working towards or a formal certification in recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes or PMP preferred but not essential

Desirable:

• Pharmaceutical background

• Knowledge of GMP processes and validation requirements where required

• Project Management Tools – MS Project, Azure Dev Ops, Jira

• Good documentation skills

• Creative thinking to find solutions to problems

• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies
