IT Project Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £43 – 47K DOE + Bonus

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading automotive brand in a leadership role as a business facing IT Project Manager. You will have a solid background in software engineering to work alongside the software development team to facilitate the smooth delivery of core products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the business to understand requirements to create functional design documents.
* Capture and translate business requirements into project briefs.
* Support users on change control and system updates.
* Analyse systems requirements including using data modelling techniques.
* Map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems.
* Work with development team to implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
* To document test scenarios and testing schedules for business systems.
* Identify and break down the necessary tasks to test products/services before delivering to user acceptance testing.
* Provide documentation to feed into IT knowledge academy.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within Automotive industry.
* Experience with test driven development and agile development methodologies.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across all business levels.
* A keen interest and aptitude to learn about business IT, information systems and security is essential.
* Embrace change, with pragmatic change control process.
* Ability to demonstrate consistent achievement in major projects.
* Experience of developing relationships and facilitating solutions with customers and sub-contractors.
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience in writing functional design documents and test scenarios.
* Strong UML and modelling experience
