Renewi have a vacancy for a Project Manager in our Specialities Division, covering UK and European sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager who is looking for a role in which they can have an impact and drive change. You will be managing a variety of infrastructure and application projects.
You will be responsible for setting up, organizing and directing tactical, strategic, advice, improvement or development projects – successively and/or at the same time. Working in an environment where there is often change management, a fixed time span and which various areas (technical, financial, legal, cultural, operational, IT and organizational elements) directly influence each other.
Core Tasks Include:
• Draws up the project plan, coordinates design, content and decision-making
• Steers and facilitates processes to determine the feasibility of scenarios with the aim of ultimately deciding on starting or stopping advisory processes
• Takes care of the staffing, taking into account the required knowledge and competencies.
• Takes care of the realization of the project; manages the project team, gives assignments and instructions.
• Takes a proactive approach to stakeholder management
• Involve the environment (client, decision makers, stakeholders). (Given the complexity and dynamics of the organization, intensive stakeholder management from management to shop floor, and with external parties, is necessary.)
• Carries out external projects, sells this to the customer and maintains the customer relationships/contract management
• Monitors the project based on the GOTRICK aspects (Money, Organization, Time, Risk, Information, Communication and Quality) and adjusts if necessary.
• Periodically reports to the client on the GOTRICK aspects, initiates plans to improve the service and handles complaints.
• Monitors and steers for coherence and coordinates complementarity between sub-projects and project team members.
• Follows developments and results of research in the field, assesses the value for the organization and translates new insights into operational solutions. Proactively submit proposals based on customer questions in the context of innovation, product development and market approach.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Project Management experience
• Experience in working in/with a matrix organization with strongly autonomous business components
• Strong supplier management skills
• Experience working on international projects, or European divisions
• Highly organised and skilled at managing multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 +£5,544 car allowance
