Managing IT Systems and Infrastructure across three sites (Northampton / Nottingham and Dubai) from the Northampton head office – you'll bring a personality and drive to improve / develop our systems as a key part of our IT team.
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £43,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: IT Manager / Systems Manager : Network / Windows Servers
 
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and smooth running of all software, hardware servers, connectivity and communication infrastructure across our group of companies.  Working across sites in Northampton, Nottingham and Dubai – you are a key part of our IT support team.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: IT Manager / Systems Manager : Network / Windows Servers
 
Based in Northampton (with regular monthly trips to the Nottingham site) you will:
 
· Manage daily operations across the network and server infrastructure across three global sites
· Maintain and monitor network and software performance
· Administer physical and virtual infrastructure, servers and domain services
· Participate in the development and organisation of IT projects
· Recommend changes to improve systems & network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: IT Manager / Systems Manager : Network / Windows Servers
 
· You're an skilled IT professional with experience of the following:
 
VMWare – Windows Servers 2006, 2019 – Windows 10,11 – Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft 365 – Network Management (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP etc.) – Microsoft Azure AD – Routing & Switching
 
· You've got excellent problem solving skills and are a good communicator.  So you either know the solution – or you know how to find it out AND you can get that message across to the people that need to understand it.
 
Your experience could come from working in an IT Management role within a business, school, university or council / authority environment.  We are also interested in IT Professionals coming from third party IT service providers.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  IT Manager, IT Supervisor, IT Systems Administrator, VMWare – Windows Servers 2006, 2019 – Windows 10,11 – Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft 365 – Network Management (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP etc.) – Microsoft Azure AD – Routing & Switching
