IT Incident Manager
The Company:
Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside global leading electric charging business. Our client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The Role:
You will be leading in the UK region managing the local team and working closely with your Global counterparts. Ensuring the accuracy of Incident reporting data within ITSM tools that used for Executive Management reporting. You will be required to create and distribute incident executive summary reporting to key stakeholders with key points summarizing event details, ensuring that non-technical audiences can also understand the content.
You will oversee monitoring trends for Incidents, Problems & Changes driving issues locally as appropriate but also collaborate with the global teams to ensure risks and compliance with best practices. Initially you will be working independently with the view to grow a team around you in the first quarter and growing further in different countries in due course. You will be the “go-to” person for 3rd party vendors and stakeholders for relaying communications.
Essential Skills:
* A minimum of 3 years Incident Management experience
* Proven experience of the Incident Management process, excellent understanding of the ITIL V3 or preferred V4 methodology.
* Proficient in either MS Azure or AWS.
* Solid understanding of cloud applications.
* Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to drive multiple teams to achieve results.
* Experience with high availability, high volume, critical service is essential.
* Solid understanding of IT Service Management methodology practices, and a proven history of deploying those practices to ensure successful execution against technology initiatives.
* Experience in delivering proven efficiency gains through automation and orchestration.
* Good working knowledge of program and project management methodologies and the role of technology resources in support of those methodologies.
* Undergraduate degree in computer sciences, data science, information systems or a related technical discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' Incident Management experience and excellent understanding of the ITIL V3 or V4 methodology. Communication skill sets is a must and all candidates applying must have excellent verbal and written English comms.
The Location:

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus Great Benefits
