Role: IT Desktop & Service Support Team Member

Salary: Competitive

Location: Milton Keynes – Temporary remote working from commencement of employment but ability to migrate back into the office in Milton Keynes is essential.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent position

Role Purpose:

To provide IT Support to all levels of the UK Business. Building and support of hardware. Install and Configuration of software. Learning and advising on current IT tools within the business. Managing their own workload within JIRA Service desk Tool as well as escalating tickets to other parts of the IT Department. Become a key part of the support team assisting other support members when required.

Responsibilities within the role:

Provide 1st/2nd Line desktop support to the end user environment.
Build and configure laptops/desktops.
Installation and configuration of Software packages.
Respond on JIRA tickets with required SLA's.
Manage and regularly update micro projects.Key Accountabilities:

Resolving JIRA Tickets within required SLA's.
Configuring equipment to user specifications.
Adapting to what the role requires on a daily basis.The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following competencies:

The ability to think outside of the box, research issues and find their own resolution.
Different knowledge of Windows history.
A background of customer care would be beneficial.
Knowledge of Mac support also beneficial.
Good Education.
A minimum of 2 years previous experience in an IT support role supporting Windows.
Delivery Focused with excellent organisational skills.
Extensive knowledge of MS office 365 including SharePoint & OneDrive.
Different levels of Outlook/Exchange knowledge.
Understanding of working in an office and maintaining a professional attitude whilst under pressure.
Ability to follow instruction and documentation to the letter, as well as write documentation.
Mobile Phone Support, Android and iOS.
