A Globally recognised financial institute based in Milton Keynes requires a Technical Leader with 5+ years of cryptography systems & certificate management experience to join the team based in Milton Keynes, on a contract basis.
This role is a technical leadership position within the Cyber Protect Network Security team. The role will be a mixture of Technical leadership, designing new solutions and services, as well as owning the operational aspects across the whole HSM and PKI Security Infrastructure across the financial institution.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the management and support of the HSM/PKI security infrastructure ensuring 24/7/365 availability covering all levels of support (1st/2nd/3rd Line).
2. Ensure the integrity and availability of cryptographic and key management services to business functions and applications.
3. Communicate with stake holders on complex cryptography solutions/products.
4. Deep understanding of change disciplines including change and release management and track record of delivering change projects in a timely manner with high quality.
5. Drive the enhancement of Third party and Supplier products/solutions to meet requirements.
6. Perform on-going audits/vulnerability analysis on key components and ensuring compliance against regulatory requirements.
7. Design and develop quality standards and policies relating to all products within the specific technical area of expertise
8. Report and escalate to management as needed.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems or equivalent.
Years of Experience:
* 5+ years of cryptography systems & certificate management experience
Skills:
* Extensive and demonstrable cryptography experience in security concepts and technologies in the following areas of Cryptography i.e. key management systems, PKI, HSMs, ATM ADH application cryptography, key material handling, standard and non-standard cryptographic algorithms.
* Knowledge and experience of multiple cryptography technologies and Vendors including but not limed to Payshield 9000, nShield Connect, Futurex, Realsec, PKI Infrastructure, Digital Certificates Creation (External – Entrust) /Internal – (MS PKI), Cloud PKI
* Strong understanding of Symmetric Key Management practice & Certificate Lifecycle Management.
* Strong IT Infrastructure experience covering Applications, Communications and Network Protocols.
* Familiarity with PCI PIN, PCI DSS, PCI P2PE and TR-31 Standards
* Ability to communicate clearly up and down the technical and business hierarchy, from technical to C-Level
The work is expected to be done remote until the Covid-19 restrictions are over, later the work is expected to be done from the location office
