Position:
* To drive bespoke or integration business development within the UK region
* Promote and drive a passionate customer driven culture by ensuring a strong focus on VOC, solution development execution and delivery to the customer.
* Identify and manage potential new software integration partners that can create and build bespoke solutions for stakeholders.
* Assess opportunities to commercialise bespoke development work with other customers.
* To be a contributing member of the wider Sales team
* Domestic and international travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will lead on
* Assess potential software integration Partners; ensuring risks are minimised and potential opportunities are maximised, through thorough understanding of; business processes, performance, technical ability and development cycles.
* Being an advocate for any partners and understanding their growth goals and business needs.
* Working with the sales team to understand the business requirement of the customer/prospect. Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts to deepen our involvement with, and ability to provide value to them.
* Assess and create business cases that demonstrate ROI.
* Ensure proficiency is maintained in a wide range of technology products/platforms for the benefit of upsell, ARPU increase and retention. Be a product champion on all products.
* Develop commercial ideas to solve customer and industry challenges with new data analytics, integrations, and peripheral solutions.
* Provide sales training & Operational training for bespoke integration products to both internal and external customers.
* Ensuring a close relationship with Product Management and Development, maintaining a high level of technical product understanding
* Assist with enterprise deals where development opportunities or detailed product expertise is required
* Develop, manage and ensure adherence to a rigorous third-party development partner approval process
* Manage end to end integration business agreement negotiations – working closely with senior management in relation to pricing / IP
Requirements:
* Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Computer Science or related scientific discipline OR minimum 5 years commercial experience developing in modern object-oriented language (C#, java).
* Knowledge and practical experience of common integration patterns and platforms, e.g. REST API, SOAP XML, Swagger, Open API and a track record of providing effective integrations using some or all of these technologies.
* Product knowledge, strong sales and goal setting skills with excellent business acumen
* Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
* Able to work in a matrix model with a diverse array of people and building successful working relationships
* Skilled at developing collaborative relationships with team members, colleagues and customers
* Displays a sound business judgment and decision-making capability
* Passionate customer service orientation with extensive experience in managing multiple stakeholders
* Ability to offer expert advice / services drawn from telematics industry experience and acumen
* High standard of technical writing, documentation and communication.
* Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
