Infrastructure Engineer (VmWare / HyperV / SCCM) – 6-month Contract – Doncaster
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to work for a leading organisation based in Doncaster.
The organisation has a number of key infrastructure and cloud-based projects which they are undertaking over the next 12 – 18 months. As such, the successful Infrastructure Engineer will be getting involved in a mix of BAU and project-based work, dependant on the skills required for the project at the time.
Key Skills:
Extensive experience working as an Infrastructure engineer providing 3rd line support
Virtualisation Software & Infrastructure (VMware and Hyper-V)
Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2012 R2 /2016 / 2019 with ideally 5 years’ experience managing the environment
Experience of Large Multi-Domain (MS AD) environments.
Understanding of Networking. IP, DNS, etc
Microsoft SCCM and Windows Patch Management
Active Directory: DNS /DHCP / Site & Services
Microsoft clustering technologies
Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure services in Azure (IAAS, Azure AD, Storage, Networking etc.)
Microsoft Exchange (2010 or upwards)
Key: HyperV / Vmware / SQL Server / SCCM / Active Directory / Infrastructure Specialist / Infrastructure engineer / 3rd Line Support
The role is largely based remotely but will require the successful Infrastructure Engineer to work at their Leicester office when the role requires.

Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months with view of extension
IR35 status: Outside IR35 – You will also be expected to complete a QDOS assessment
Rate: £350-£400 per day
Location: Mix of remote and onsite
