We are currently looking for an Informatics Business Analyst to join a leading Healthcare company based in the Bedfordshire area. As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for creating business and solution requirements documentation for new business requirements requiring technical solutions, assisting informatics team in making available accurate, sufficient and clearly written inputs for technical delivery.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Business Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Liaise with business stakeholders to capture accurate and clear business requirements using BDD method of requirements analysis, complete with user stories and acceptance criteria

2. Interact exclusively with clinical LIMS administrators, Informatics team, senior lab operatives, and the lab management team, helping them identify issues with their current business processes and proposing solution ideas.

3. Manage requirements and user stories backlog on JIRA and keep it continually updated based on immediate priorities and overall strategy and business objectives

4. Organise sprint planning workshops and ensure development team has a clear set of backlog items to work on in every sprint.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree or advanced certification in a technical field such as computing, computer applications and software engineering.

2. Proven industry experience in business/requirements analysis experience using a combination of agile and waterfall methods in business environments.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with JIRA, agile backlog management and LIMS or other scientific application development.

4. Experience in a scientific or similar environment supporting business and IT in delivering complex solutions.
