PERMANENT I.T SYSTEM ADMIN – MILTON KEYNES – CIRCA 30K
Here you will have the opportunity to be part of a hands on role where no two days are the same.
Daily duties are likely to involve the following:-
* Working alongside your manager you will be responsible for the support to over 250 employees
* Ensuring the I.T systems are running smoothly and resolving an issues as swiftly as possible
* Communication skills are key as you will be offering advise and support remotely, by telephone or face to face providing 1st, 2nd & 3rd line service desk support
* Being involved in installing and managing desktop/laptops/servers/networks and relevant IT infrastructure. Also to include installing, configuring applications for various business systems.
* Hours are Mon – Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm. However, the department covers evening/weekends I.T calls where necessary. This is not a regular thing but you will be required to cover on a rota basis
What we need from you:-
* Experience in a similar position is essential
* Previous knowledge of supporting current and previous versions of Windows server and client operating systems: Windows 7, 10 and Windows 2012 R2, 2016, 2019
* Ideally ITIL Qual but if not certifications in Azure Cloud Services or similar
* Microsoft Networks and configuration
* Sharepoint Admin & Project Management would certainly be an asset but not essential
* Flexible attitude
