We are currently looking for a Head of Resource Planning to join our team based in Milton Keynes. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus great benefits.

As the Head of Resource Planning, you will develop and manage a team of forecasters in a judgemental forecasting model environment, as well as a team of schedulers producing accurately mapped staffing levels versus forecast requirements in line with operational service levels.
Main responsibilities as our Head of Resource Planning will require you to:
– Deliver accurate and timely forecast contact volumes which are required in each business area including analysis of any variance to the norm
– Ensure regular meetings with key suppliers of information take place and all data necessary for accurate forecasting is gathered
– Ensure the current workforce management tool is utilised to its full potential
– Ensure all relevant employment laws are strictly adhered to and backed up with MI to prove adherence
– Ensure schedule efficiency across all areas of the business to protect service level
– Provide accurate FTE requirement modelling for any new business/project and input any factors which may affect the ability of the business to deliver
– Constantly review the business environment and proactively plan for known events
– Collaborate with other areas of the organisation and make a considerable contribution to disaster recovery planning
– Ensure recruitment plans across all areas are regularly updated and communicated to key stakeholders giving a consistent window of time for plans to be executed
– Collaborate with client counterparts and agreeing forecast volumes and FTE as per each individual contract
Our ideal Head of Resource Planning will:
– Be highly proficient in workforce management tools, techniques, and services relevant to forecasting and scheduling with a broad awareness of those used throughout the industry, whilst maintaining a key interest in emerging developments in the marketplace
– Have detailed knowledge of project management techniques
– Have 5yrs experience of working in a senior capacity in the provision of resource planning solutions to the business
– Possess a balance of skills in the forecasting, capacity planning, recruitment planning, and scheduling sides of resource planning
– Be an excellent communicator
– Be experienced in people management and leading and developing a team of specialists
