After a period of sustained growth, we have developed a successful and disruptive business and are looking to build out our sales and marketing function to increase our market presence. Reporting directly into the Sales and Marketing Director, the Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in taking the business to the next level.
Managing a small team, the successful candidate will define and drive execution of all marketing activity, as well as working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business performance.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and implement a marketing strategy that delivers against business objectives.
* Work closely with the sales function to target and convert prospects into qualified and educated leads for the BDM team.
* Drive activity that produces revenue growth in line with the sales plan.
* Create innovative and disruptive marketing plans to drive brand awareness and interest.
* Oversee all digital and traditional marketing activity carried out by the team.
* Ensure our website and social media profiles, are regularly populated with relevant and high impact content.
* Be the custodian of customer/market data and insight and share with colleagues to inform activity.
* Refine and develop our value proposition in conjunction with senior management.
* Lead, manage, motivate and develop a marketing team to deliver results.
* Manage a marketing budget and demonstrate strong performance against agreed KPIs.
* Own and evolve the brand guidelines to ensure they represent the business accurately.
* Interact with external agencies and partners, building effective working relationships.
The Person:
* CIM, or equivalent, preferable.
* At least 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role.
* Creative leader able to articulate a vision through all customer touch points.
* Experience of developing and delivering marketing strategies with appropriate KPIs and benchmarks.
* Experience of managing and developing a team.
* Experience of delivering a range of marketing tactics across both digital and non-digital channels.
* Managing multiple stakeholders with different priorities.
* Skilled communicator with wide-ranging stakeholder group.
* Ability to think and develop plans at both operational and strategic.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
