Graduate Technical Software Tester
Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid working)
Salary: £24k + profit share, contributory pension, medical benefits, life assurance & flexible holiday.

The Role:
Hybrid – remote and office-based working, within a team of skilled engineers across various disciplines (Analysis, Development, Testing and Operations)
Working in an agile scrum environment which adheres to scrum values, delivering significant change to our products
Directly involved in design, development, test and delivery of great new features and improvements that the team is expected to champion, support, and evolve
High degree of collaboration across the team, eager to improve on everything that we do, with a keen eye for efficiency and quality
As a technical role, you will be working to improve test automation across our products using a mixture of API and UI testing tools and be capable of learning and writing code to facilitate this form of testing
You will design, build, and execute non-functional automated tests (e.g., Security, Performance etc.)
Writing automated tests with Java/Groovy, Javascript
Feeding test data into automated tests with the use of SQL to databases such as mySQL and Oracle
Working with test automation tools like ReadyAPI, jMeter, and UI testing tools like TestComplete, Katalon
Working with API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger, SOAP etc.)
Managing test automation lifecycle with GIT, BitBucket, Docker, Jira Cloud, Zephyr, Testrail
Accessing servers via Linux shell/Bash
About you:
You have an interest in learning to use technology to assure the quality of business-critical applications
You collaborate well within a team and are motivated to learn new technologies and understand existing software platforms, so that you can help shape them in the future
You have a desire to learn and understand how energy retail and energy management industries work, to help us build game changing solutions
You have a good degree in a STEM subject
You have some knowledge or interest in test automation
You have an interest in assuring both the functional and non-functional aspects of software and are motivated to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance software
