Our engineering client are recruiting for a permanent GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking GIS data preparation, data management, mapping, BIM data conversations, analysis, and visualisation to support our client’s internal team, supply chain and their end client.

You will also be responsible for analysing spatial data using mapping software and geoprocessing tools, as well as creating spatial data for use in business processes and applications. You will be creating high-quality cartographic map outputs, which is a key part of this role.

You will have the following experience:

* Previous experience in a similar position and/or a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

* Proven knowledge in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ERSI ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS and ERSI Mobile application.

* Deep understanding of GIS principles

* Experience using Microsoft Access and Excel.

* Knowledge of Metadata standards and UK GIS datasets.

* Previous experience in successful data management.

* Confident with exceptional communication skills.

Desirable experience:

* Experience in the infrastructure or environment disciplines.

* Programming experience in either, Python, SQL or VBA.

* Exposure to ESRI Model Builder or FME.

* Use of ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, ProjectWise, BIMXtra, LiDAR and OS MasterMap
