As our Functional Test Analyst, you will be required to:

– Develop comprehensive quality test strategies and plans for all assigned development projects including the construction of data sets, testing environments, test cases, and scripts/procedures

– Coordinate the workflow within the function by assigning resources to projects, monitoring progress, and adjusting workload balances

– Perform research, risk assessment, and impact analysis evaluations from a quality perspective

– Participate actively with the business analysts and software engineers throughout project life cycles to understand business applications. Build quality processes into the design of applications

– Execute test plans according to the defined plans. Responsible for managing the execution of test plans including assigning testing tasks and reporting statuses to the scrum master and scrum team

What we are looking for in our ideal Functional Test Analyst:

Essential

– Higher vocational degree in Computer Science

– Relevant experience within functional testing

– Planning; accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects

– ISTQB Foundation Level Certification

– Experience of test management tooling e.g. QTest, Quality Centre, JIRA

– Experience of either Waterfall or Agile SDLC’s

Desirable

– Experience of eCommerce and test automation (Selenium, Serenity BDD, JAVA)

– Technologies, Hybris, SAP, AS400, MS SQL Server

– API (Restful) Testing/Restful services

– Exposure to Continuous Integration
