The Role of the ERP Support Analyst:
You will provide first class user support to EIMEA business on the European ERP platform and Business applications ensuring that systems run smoothly and issues are dealt with promptly.
The ERP Support Analyst will act as the first point of contact for technical ERP support to the wider IT team and Assists the Business Systems Team in the overall development and maintenance of ERP applications in alignment with ongoing business systems strategic programmes.
Provide analysis on support issues with Business applications and assists the Business System team with areas that need improvements.
Carry out system change requests and testing to help to resolve issues and optimise processes in accordance with SOX procedures.
Audit and analyse data quality and integrity and issues corrective guidance to data owners. Makes recommendations for new controls and processes to improve quality where appropriate. The ERP Support Analyst's Qualifications and Experience:
Computing qualification with a strong emphasis on C# programming
Training in relevant ERP software or equivalent to a high level of technical knowledge – desirable
Current technical certification(s) would be ideal but not required.
Experience of working with databases, preferably Microsoft SQL.
Experience of C# programming language.
Experience of translating complex technical concepts and information to usable guidance for non-technical users.
Experience of implementation, testing and use of software applications.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements in the development of reporting. Skills and Knowledge Required of the ERP Support Analyst:
Ability execute multiple set tasks with varying short-term timelines.
Act as an ERP technical resource within wider IT team and is the first point contact in the Business Sytems Team for ERP support.
Must be able to evaluate in collaboration with BSM and key stakeholders to improve workflows and processes.
Follow internal workflows and policies/procedures in the creation of methodologies and procedures.
Good knowledge of SQL and databases.
SQL server reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of business processes eg. supply chain and financials.
Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
