Zachary Daniels Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for an Electronic Trading Manager to our clients in Watford.
The purpose of this role is to manage and guide the e-Trading team on supplier electronic engagement within the business to maximise the effectiveness of Electronic Data Interchange. To Lead the daily activities and the strategic direction of all EDI initiatives.
There is the prospect that this role can be a hybrid working arrangement but accessibility to Watford is a must.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for reviewing, developing and embedding new ways of working within the e-Trading and Commercial teams to meet the changing needs of the business
Be the escalation point for all EDI issues that cannot be resolved by the Analyst, Working with stakeholders and suppliers as required to problem solve, escalate and rectify issues in a timely manner
Managing the team workload to ensure all actions are completed in line with agreed SLA's
Accountability over the management and negotiation of 3rd Party contracts
Management and implementation of ongoing system development/enhancements required via 3rd Party Contractors to support a smoother process within Wickes
Regular reporting to key stakeholders within Commercial on progress of onboarding and highlighting risks and issues where appropriate
Manage and lead all EDI projects including documentation, quality assurance and implementation support
Day to day line and performance management of e-Trading team. Ensure that objectives and personal development plans are in place for all team members
Support with onboarding in the absence of the Analysts where required

We are also looking for:
Project Management and Business Process experience
Strong management skills and a good technical background (Electronic Data Interchange solutions and Data message formats such as EDIFACT / TRADACOMS / XML)
Knowledge of Data Management techniques, industry standards and IT solutions
Working knowledge of file transfer protocols including FTP, SFTP, AS2
Experience in organising and streamlining data processes
Data migration and cleanse processes
People Management & development
Extensive administration or retail experience
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, methodical and has high attention to detail
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Self-motivated and able to problem solve
Highly proficient in IT systems
Ability to understand and write technical documentation
