Digital Designer, WordPress, Elementor, Web Designer

Digital Designer required to work for an exciting, growing, digital business based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

We are not looking for a bog standard Graphic Designer but someone who can bring Digital briefs to life. We need someone to be self-sufficient and who can think outside the box when converting briefs into reality for clients.

It could be that you have come from a Digital Freelancing background and that you are now ready to settle down in a permanent role.

It is a fairly small team where there is a real family, harmonious feel to them…so culture and character fit is extremely important. It is one of those companies where if you are looking to find ‘home’, variety and enjoyment…along with autonomy (to a degree!), then this could be it!!! WordPress skills are pretty important too.

Also, they are old-school in their approach where they spend time with their clients and really get inside what they want, so office presence is essential Monday – Thursday…and you can work from home on Fridays. Read on for more details…

Background and characteristics required:

* We want design to be your world. You make things look good for the sake of it. Everything you see, do and touch looks amazing. You are obsessed with pixel perfection and attention to detail. You know what looks good and what doesn’t. A proven portfolio of design work is a must

* You are keen to further your career in web design. The idea of working with clients to design and build a complete website excites you

* You are good with IT. You do not need to know HTML, coding skills or be a developer, but you should find learning new software easy

* You have good communication skills. You will be a good team player, will be easy to get along with and will not fear engaging with clients to qualify and execute briefs.

Additional skills required:

* Your written English skills must be excellent. You will not need to be at copywriter standard, but it is essential that emails and website content does not contain typos and spelling mistakes

* You must be a team player – they are a strong, close team and work together in a collaborative process to bring their client’s ideas to life.

* You should also be able to work independently and off your own steam.

* You do not need to be a developer, or know any coding skills. But experience using WordPress and/or Elementor is a huge bonus – WordPress especially.
