Our public sector client are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join their team on a new contract.
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Milton Keynes/ work from home – MK 1 -2 days per week
IR35: In scope
Pay Rate to Candidate: £290pd- £340pd DOE
Working on various portfolio of schemes. 50% is on site and 50% office. Travel to other sites – train or vehicle provided.
Experience:
Business support
ITIL qualification or foundation level
Customer service experience as customer facing role
Strong data analysis to support rail and train planning team.
Looking after and managing large amounts of data to support the TOCs (train operating companies) and to support multi-disciplinary projects
Requirements:
IT support experience
ITIL Service Management Foundation Qualification or equivalent experience in IT service management
Knowledge of IT support processes
Bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn
Proactive, hands-on approach, self-starter, able to take the initiative
Strong inter-personal skills and customer driven
Ability to work to SLAs in a fast paced IT environment
Highly structured, organised and meticulous approach to work, with strong analytical skills and a determined approach with an eye for detail.
Concise approach to documentation with an emphasis on simplifying complex issues and improving processes
Ability to multi-task and balance this with the ability to consistently deliver solutions
Strong self-motivation
