My client is in the Software industry, specialising in infrastructure. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Database Developer to join there ever-growing team. With many employee benefits, this position is suited for someone looking for a new challenge in the Database industry.
This role is a dual SQL Development and Junior Database Administrator for both Oracle and MariaDB/MYSQL systems. Your primary responsibilities will be to keep the systems running, developing code for and data loading within them. Furthermore, you will be tasked with Database monitoring and management, as well as designing, implementing and tuning of SQL, and finally Query and Transaction monitoring, making recommendations where necessary.

Experience needed:
– Experienced with Oracle RDBMS 12c,19c SQL and Administration
– SQL Tuning and Indexing to support efficient use.
– Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system internals, familiarity with shell scripting.
– Experience of MySQL a bonus.
– PL/SQL knowledge desirable.
– Ideally working knowledge of Oracle Backup/Recovery (RMAN),
– Exposure to MongoDB would be desirable, but not essential.
