Data Migration Specialist / Data Project Manager
High Wycombe / Beaconsfield
Salary: £50,000 to £54,000 per annum
Contract: 12 month FTC
Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday
Our client are embarking on a major digital transformation programme and requires a Data Migration Specialist / Data Project Manager with highly developed data skills to support the management of the data workstream.
The role will encompass company wide data governance and quality improvements, metadata capture, data migration and a revised suite of reporting. The role will report to and work very closely with the Head of Business Intelligence who is acting as the programme data workstream lead within the overall programme.
You will also work very closely and on a collaborative basis with the head of portfolio, project managers, business analysts, subject matter experts, the business architecture manager and other programme workstream leads.
You will drive the creation and facilitation of a Data Governance Board to improve the quality of our client’s data and you will aid the sourcing of and then usage of the appropriate Master Data Management tool to hold and utilise the metadata required for their data migration. Further to this you will drive & project manage the data migration for the new solution and ensure that the necessary reporting is available for the business.
They’re looking for an experienced data migration professional with a track record of working within delivery teams for projects of significant size. You’ll have a strong technical data background and ideally experience driving data migration activities within major ERP programmes.
