Data Migration and Cutover Project Manager

Hybrid working model – Remote/Milton Keynes

Our client has carried out a status determination assessment and the outcome placed the role outside IR35.

Our globally renowned client is looking for a Data Migration and Cutover Project Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for Data Migration – the migration and reconciliation of agreed data objects from the legacy sales systems to the new sales system. You will also be responsible for Cutover – to plan, manage and deliver all aspects of the business and systems cutover (incl. data migration) from the legacy sales systems to the new sales system.

The key deliverables:

Data migration strategy and plan.
Data migration requirements, solution design, development, testing and implementation.
Cutover strategy and plan.
Cutover process executed with data migrated, reconciled and signed-off by the Programme Board.
Reporting transparent and regular reports of status, finances, risks and issues.

You will have the following experience:

Proven project management experience in a complex environment with the ability to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach.
Experience of planning and delivering large scale data migration solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
High level of attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels in the organisation.
Able to develop effective working relationships.
Self-motivated with a sense of accountability for tasks and decisions.
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
