Data Engineer / Data Consultant

Hybrid role + flexible working 

Salary £45k-65k (Dependent on level of experience)

Personable Data Engineer needed on a to join our reputable customer on a permanent basis and be fundamental to the success of many Data projects where you will gain exposure across Azure Data Services + Big Data tech.

You will join a passionate team consisting of data scientists, data visualisation consultants, AI developers and Data analysts, and a company with a positive and fulfilling culture.

The successful Data Engineer / Data Consultant will have the following skills + experience:

Prior commercial experience in a Data Engineering / Data Consultant role; Data processing, transforming Data, Data pipeline and acquisition.
SQL and/or Python coding skills
Knowledge/experience of Azure data services (ADF, Azure Data Lake Storage, SQL DWH)
Knowledge/experience with distributed systems (Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, U-SQL, Spark, Data bricks etc.)
Knowledge / experience with unstructured data and No-SQL technologies
Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
Desire to always be learning
